God continues to open opportunities.
So many wonderful things have happened since our Wimbish Road Church stepped out in faith and started the Spotlight On The Bible Ministry. God has broadened the area of influence from one flea market day to 5 days.

As the flow of people slowed down that very first Sunday at Smiley’s Flea Market, Robin shared with Glenda the news of a new Flea Market being renovated in the old Kroger Grocery Store on Eisenhower Boulevard in Macon. As they brought it to the attention of Nancy and Sharon it was decided that Joey should drive Robin and Glenda down to the building to see what it was like. When they came back to Smiley’s and shared the news  of what they had found, their enthusiasm caught all on fire and the decision was made to move from Smiley’s to the Macon Mall Flea Market. It was a leap of faith from sharing Gospel Books only on Sundays, to Wednesdays through Sundays.
The move was made, and on the July 31st grand opening day, people were lined up all the way to the end of the building waiting for the doors to open. A steady flow of God’s people stopped at the Spotlight On The Bible booth to take the Gospel Books.
Those greeting God’s people at the booth are having thrilling experiences that will be shared in future articles.

Prayer requests for July 5-6, 2009
- My aunt with stage 3 cancer.
- For blessings of my home finances and spiritual growth and for safety for my family.
- Family whos mother passed away July 31.
- For financial, spiritual, mental and physical blessings and for a new home.
- For my family, my sister, myself and our little business.
- Several people having surgery. We’re starting a new school year and school program and my mom is nervous about it.
- For me and by boys.
- I have been waiting for God’s will for my direction in life concerning school and a job. Please pray for me.
- For my right leg and if there is any sickness in my body, please pray for me to get better and get closer to God.
- For health, finances and family. And for this world to end all cruelty towards each other.
- Pray for me to have a beautiful, successful wedding and get closer to God.
- Pray for a better relationship with Jesus Christ and become a stronger soldier for God. To do His will and remove all unclean thoughts and doings by me. And pray for my entire family and the world. And for forgiveness of the sins of the world.
- Pray no hurt or harm may come my way. Help me keep a steady mind and get a job.
- Help me be strong
- I want to be all God would have me be.
- I have had brain surgery in 03. I now have seizures. I am allergic to most of the seizure medications and each week or two I am having to try a new medication. Before I can get used to the new medicine I am having more and more seizures because my body won’t adjust. Please pray for/with me.
- Please pray for my ankle. I broke it and it still hurts me a lot, and pray that my marriage gets better, for myself and my wife.
- For a better job to supply income, rent, groceries and to give 10% to the church.
- For a friend needing surgery
- My grandma is in the hospital. Please pray for a full recovery.
Prayer requests for July 19-31, 2009
- Dad sick from smoking, pray he can fight back the urge to smoke. Pray other friends and family are saved.
- Unnamed families and friends.
- Loved one with spot on their lung.
- Pray I will be able to enter LPN school.
- For safe travel.
- 70 year old loved one in Americus, GA is sick. Also other family.
- Relatives in Mexico.
- My uncle with cancer. Pray for a miracle.
- That things will get better.
- That the Lord will have His way in my life and victory over drugs for my son.
- Church group, took 1 copy of all of our books and want to use them in their church.
- I just lost my daughter in a car accident June 15 and my son is in Irack; I need prayer too.
- Save our souls and teach and guide us.
- Pray for a close friend while she is in the hospital.
- My entire family and loved one going off to college that he will be able to complete this journey successfully.
- Cut finger and starting a new business.
- Loved one with cervical cancer. That our family will be closer. For our business to continue to succeed.
- Prayer of thanksgiving.
- For all people to come together in love and peace. That all people not working will find a job. That the Lord will love us all.
- We need prayers brought down on our whole family and my fiancé’s family.
- A gentleman very knowledgeable in Bible history to follow God’s leading.
- That my son will get a raise in pay. That twins, weighing 2 lbs. will survive.
- That my family will prosper and live a healthy life.
- That God will bless me with a home of my own. Pray for my son will prosper with insurance settlement. That our family will get closer together and take the hate out of my sister and mother’s heart.
- To get my weight back and have a better life.
- Pray I will receive food and bills paid in full and to have money to put back in Gods kingdom and help someone.
Prayer requests for August 02, 2009
- Pray that I can better myself, and the future and change my ways.
- Financial. That my loved one will be able to go back to his old school.
- Safe passage from Berlin Germany for my brother working in Afghanistan. Also for my church, friends and family.
- For better days and better health.
- For my sister’s marriage and business. My family also.
- I have diabetes, heart disease, fibromyalgia, IBS and pinched nerves. I also need help with relationships.
- Need of a volunteer to be available Tue. & Wed. 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM
- Neck and foot pain
- That my aunt will be OK and the blood clot on her lung will go away.
- That my dad will get a job and my aunt will get better.
- That my baby and I will find a better place to live and have more support.
- That I will be more successful in life
- Families looking for a job.
- For the whole world
- That God will save my marriage and make my house a family home. To help my additions to my home start for my Day Care. Also my immediate family.
- A family in Dalton, GA
- Prayer for healing of surgery on my leg.
- For God’s favor in my 1st semester of school. I need to pass all my classes and to have more than enough financial aid assistance.
- For my brother, he’s so nice. Everyone loves him like God.
- That my loved one will receive Christ as their personal Saviour soon.
- My Grandma that’s sink in Mexico. Please take care of me and my family while moving.
